Making Money Online

I’m Going To Be a Millionaire!

That phrase “I’m Going To Be a Millionaire” sounded pretty good to me.  I had so many debts – not a million – but it seemed like it.  So, I ventured in to the land of  Internet Marketing.

I really didn’t know what I was getting into but I figured that I had done so many different things in my life, this would be just one more.  Little did I know that it would take several months to get started and more time than that to make a “million”.

That figure or the “6 Figure” term get tossed around on the Internet as though there was nothing to it.  Some people have “struck it rich” right away.  But most of us – I think I heard 99% – have to put in a lot of hours and studying to begin to understand this Monster called the “Internet”.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t make 6 Figures or a million but there will be a lot of learning and work at first.  One thing no one tells you   is that there is a whole new vocabulary to learn.

Indexing, CPC, Back Link, KeyWords and many more are part of the Internet vocabulary.  A good starting place for Newbies (Beginners) is: http://excellent-internet-marketing.com/vocabulary.html.  The new terms and words aren’t all there but enough to give you a good start.

You might be the next millionaire but unless you are in the 1%, it’s not going to happen any time soon.  To begin, you need to find a program among all the ones that are presented to you that is made by one of the people who has “made it” and who knows how to present the information.

Also, you shouldn’t have to pay more than $30 to $100 for any of the good programs.  Good Learning and Good Luck.

To Blog – Or Not!

http://hanbarra2.regfix.hop.clickbank.net

My first Blog was an accident.  I had written a few lines to some cousins who just entered the mission field and someone found it and listed it as a blog.

I hardly knew what a Blog was.  I’ve had a little experience now and done a lot of reading so hopefully, my blogs will be getting better.   Actually, when I first heard people talking about blogs, I thought they sounded sort of dumb – something for people who couldn’t write to use so they got some notariety.

I didn’t think they would be around for long – people! was I wrong!  I wanted to say “Boy, was I wrong” but I guess that isn’t proper anymore.  It is now said that the “foundation for online marketing is the blog.”

I’ve known for a long time that it was important to get on the top of Google’s listings in your catagory but never really thought I would need to do that either.

However, it seems that I need to do something to get more traffic to my site.   I guess you’ve really ”made it” when you get Indexed or in other words when Google or another search engine finds you and puts  you on its site.

I also know now that there are a lot of search engines, it’s just that Google, Yahoo and MSN get 75% of the traffic with Google getting half of that.

In order to get indexed by Google,  there are several requirements.  Your Blog needs to have unique material and be comparatively new.  And it seems that Google likes you to write long blogs or articles or posts or whatever.

You need to be sure and sprinkle as many of your keywords as will fit – 6 or 7 per 100 words.

And the most important thing is to get a good page ranking and many many back links.

Introduction

http://hanbarra2.regfix.hop.clickbank.net

I have had an interesting life, living in 10 states and 27 different homes. When my mother came to live with us and could watch our 3 children, I was able to go back to school and completed my BA, MA and PhD. I taught in a small school in southern Iowa for 13 years and at the University of Wisconsin – Superior for 17 years. My majors were School Health Education and Community Health. I wrote a text on disease which is in its 3rd printing. My husband died of cancer in 1999 and I retired in 2001 and moved to Arizona where I enjoyed golfing and swimming. I live on a golf course but my hips have given out again and my knees need to be replaced so no more golf for a while. However, this does give me more time to spend on the computer.
